Hi, I'm Will Hutch, a Registered Architect and Building Envelope consultant based in Brooklyn, NY. With over 15 years of experience on some of New York City's most demanding projects, I started Beau Designs to bring that same level of technical rigor to architects, developers, and contractors who want a consultant that's genuinely invested in getting it right.

My background spans the full spectrum of building envelope work, from curtain wall and terracotta rainscreens to below-grade waterproofing, roofing, and energy code compliance. I've worked on landmark projects across NYC, including 80 Clarkson (CookFox), 1 Highline (BIG), 520 Park Avenue (RAMSA), 111 Murray Street (KPF), Front & York (MA), 520 West 28th Street (Zaha Hadid), and 1 Penn Plaza (MdeAS).

What makes working with me different is that I'm an architect first. I understand what your design is trying to accomplish and I'll find a way to protect the envelope without compromising it. Whether that means catching a waterproofing risk in the drawings, writing specs that hold up during bidding, or showing up on site to make sure the details are built the way they were intended, I'm here from DD through TCO.
